The Deep River Garden Club is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote a greater interest in civic beautification for the Town of Deep River by way of charitable projects which emphasize conservation, plantings, upkeep, and overall betterment for our community.
Deep River Beautification
Members of the Deep River Garden Club are dedicated to the upkeep and beautification of the following locations:
Veterans Memorial Park
Also known as the Town Green, this area is central to town parades and concerts
Deep River Public Library
Featuring a NEW native and perennial rain garden, as well as a children’s garden
Devitt Field
Raised garden area at the entrance to Devitt Field, which features little league fields, a gazebo, and a playground
Deep River Fire Dept. Median
The location of the 2023 Deep River Garden Club Median Project; this space is central to town and was planted with native, drought-tolerant plant species
Deep River Elementary School Pollinator Garden
The large concrete planter at the rear of the school, which features many pollinator-friendly native plant species

The large concrete planter at the intersection of Rt. 80 and Westbrook Road
